Note: Sales orders will need to be enabled before a new sales order can be created. Please see the article below for instructions on how to enable sales orders.
Create a New Sales Order (S.O.)
A Sales Order is a form that settles an agreement between a company and a customer. A Sales Order can handle back orders and partial invoicing so it is useful when a customer orders goods or services that will not be available immediately. Service-based companies can use Sales Orders internally as work orders. A Sales Order does not effect inventory.
- From any page in ZarMoney, hover over the Sales Center and select the "+" next to Sales Order from the drop down menu.
To enter a new Sales Order for a specific customer:
- From the customers Transactions screen, hover over Add a new... and select Sales Order.
- The customer information will already be filled in. The description and price of items/services being quoted must be entered.
